Trail Mix Two Ways

When you’re adventuring during the day it’s often easier to reach for something that’s convenient rather than healthy. And as we know, a hungry belly makes for a clouded mind, causing you to reach for not-so-healthy munchies—especially when you’re on-the-go!

We’ve decided to give you the perfect, quick bite that is absolutely delicious, no matter where in the world you are!

Whether you’re camping, hiking, on a road trip, flying on a plane or on the way to a meeting, these two trail mix recipes will satisfy your hunger and keep you fulfilled during all your adventures. Test them both out and let us know which is your favorite!

1. Cowgirl Catnip: Tropical Delight

  • 1/4 cups unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup whole roasted almonds
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup raw macadamia nuts
  • 1/2 cup dried banana chips
  • 1/4  cup chopped dried mango or papaya

In a medium mixing bowl, toss all ingredients together until evenly combined. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 month or in the refrigerator for a  prolonged period of time.

2. Savory Summit Mix: Asian Fusion

  • 1/2 cups cashews
  • 1/2 cup roasted edamame
  • 1/4 cup goji berries
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seed
  • 1/4  cup candied ginger
  • 1/2 cups gluten-free pretzels
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts (optional)
  • 1 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

In a medium mixing bowl, toss all ingredients together until evenly combined.
