A La Ranch

  • 2 t onion powder
  • 2 t garlic powder
  • 2 t dried parsley
  • 2 t dried chives
  • 1/2 – 1 t salt (depending on your salty tooth)

Combine and store in an airtight container. Add 1T – 3/4 cup greek yogurt to make Ranch Dip.

Cajun Spice Mix

  •  1/4 C of salt
  • 2 T cayenne pepper
  • 2 T paprika
  • 1 1/2 T onion powder
  • 2 T freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 T garlic powder
  • 1 t dried oregano

Combine and store in an airtight container. Use on fish, chicken, vegetables or rice bowls.

Curry Powder Mixture

  • 8 T cumin powder
  • 7 T coriander powder
  • 2 T ginger powder
  • 4 T turmeric powder
  • 1/2 T cayenne pepper

Combine and store in an airtight container. Use on fish, chicken, vegetables or rice bowls.

To create a Curry sauce with this spice mixture, bring 4T olive oil to medium heat, add 3T Curry Powder mix, zest of 1/2 lime, 1T fresh lime juice, 2 cloves minced garlic. Add 2 1/2 cups light coconut milk, 2T tamari, S&P to taste. Bring mixture to a boil until sauce thickens. Add stir fry vegetables or pour over cooked fish or chicken!

Double or triple these spice mixtures so you have them on hand when you want to whip up a quick curry dinner or offer some healthy Ranch dressing with your hors d’oeuvres!
