How To Make Mini Decisions That Move Mountains

Welcome to Day 10 POUND POSSE!

You’ve made it over the 7 day hump and are well on your way to new habits and a happy lifestyle. We’re so incredibly inspired by all of your posts! Your sweaty #POUNDselfies are the BEST and your #balancedeats are making us hungry over here!

Today, we want to pass along some of the greatest advice that we’ve ever received. Someone once told us that in order to set your life in the direction you want it to go in, you have to make decisions. If you look back at the times you’ve felt stuck, you might also notice that it was around the same time that you stopped making decisions. Perhaps you were in a fitness rut, stuck at a job that you didn’t enjoy or maybe even in an unhealthy relationship. Without decision making, you’re more prone to letting things happen to you, rather than making things happen.

If we stop making decisions, we stop growing – we stop moving forward.

Think about it this way. If you followed a path into a forest and all of a sudden that path split, what would happen if you stayed there, fearful of which direction to choose? You’d probably be someone’s dinner in no-time! The key is to constantly make decisions. Choose to go left. Choose to go off the path. Just choose confidently.

In life, you must have a clear vision. Think and work backwards. You’re the most productive when you have a clear picture of what you want. You just have to figure out how to get there. When the unknown causes things to become blurry, do not lose sight and do not waiver. Remember, you’re already there—you can see it. Have a good relationship with your gut. Listen to it constantly, trust your instincts, don’t second guess yourself. If your mind is clear, your goals are in sight and you’re making decisions that honor your vision, you will never fail.

From tiny decisions like choosing water over soda to larger decisions like letting go of a relationship that doesn’t honor your beliefs, always work towards a better you.

Look at the last 10 days. You have successfully made decisions to better your life on a daily basis! We’ve seen it! Each of those decisions has led you to a healthy and happier place. Just imagine what can happen after the next 10 days, and 20, and so on! Some decisions will be hard, like getting up early enough to fit in a workout — and some will become easy, like enjoying your boost at the beginning of each day. Get in touch with your gut over the next 50 days and trust it to lead you!

And remember, we’re on this bus with you! If you ever need help or have questions feel free to reach out! And on the same note—make sure you’re supporting your fellow tour mates! Every liked photo and encouraging comment helps!
