Alissa To’omata is based in Sydney, Australia. Part of the elite fitness aerobics team Synergy, Alissa was a world aerobics finalist for 7 years. Besides fitness, Alissa also loves to dance. She recently became one of 50 selected to dance with Madonna in her Addicted to Sweat fitness class. Alissa loves to share her passion for fitness any way she can, especially through creativity, dynamics and music.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Someone once told me a story that when they reached 35yrs old they wished they were still 25 and then when they got to 45yrs old they wished they were back at 35yrs old. So in other words appreciate what you have and where you are right now or otherwise you may regret this moment.
What activity do you do that makes you feel most like yourself?
Dance to music.
What’s something you hope people will say about you once you’re gone?
That girl really made a positive impact on her community and loved with all her heart.
What’s the best thing that’s ever happened to you?
Pound became part of my life, I got married to the best guy with my friends and family by my side, I represented Australia at the World Aerobics Championships 6 times and got to dance with Madonna in a private fitness class.
What superpower would you most like to have?
Connectivity! The power to connect people at the touch of a Ripstick… seriously though, if I could connect them from near and afar for a greater purpose I would… and I will!
