The “spending” is also known as your metabolism–the driving force behind your energy levels. Try this easy morning meal within 20 minutes of waking to boost your energy all throughout the day!
1 Cup Peanut Butter
1 Cup Honey
2 Cups Rolled Instant Oats
3/4 Cup Dried Cranberries
2 Tbsp Cacao Powder or Chocolate Protein Powder
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
1/4 Cup Flaxseed
1/2 Cup Sunflower Seeds
Step 1: In a saucepan, combine the peanut butter and honey until blended and smooth.
Step 2: Remove the saucepan from the stove. Stir in the oats, cranberries, cacao, coconut flakes, flaxseed and sunflower seeds.
Step 3: Pour into a cookie sheet or cupcake pan, freeze for an hour. Cut into bars and return to the fridge.
