What’s one word or phrase that perfectly sums up your energy?
The word that perfectly sums up my energy is Vibeiest. Everything that I do in POUND is related to the vibes, short for vibrations. The vibes are the what, the why, and the how of me, my Posse, and the molecular level energy that is part of each and every POUND class experience.
What’s a non-fitness skill that makes you a stronger teacher?
A non-fitness skill that makes me a stronger teacher is being a drummer. I entered the POUND universe as a drummer and rhythm enthusiast first, then I had to learn and incorporate the fitness science into what I do as an instructor. My connection to the drums, the rhythm, and the timing helps me bring that energy, enthusiasm, and awareness directly to my students and ultimately provides a higher level experience for all.
Who is your favorite POUND artist?
BEGINNERS – From the beginning, pun intended, they have been my favorite because who can argue with the vibe of, “Start a Riot?” I love that song so much, I have a tank top that has those words on it and I also have a BEGINNERS band t-shirt. Additionally, I have met Sam Barbera, lead singer and bass player from the band and she is the coolest!
