POUND Unplugged
Generation POUND
Are there any prerequisites for Generation POUND training?
Anyone with a passion for movement and a desire to make a positive impact can register for Generation POUND training. You do not need to be a POUND Pro first. There are no prerequisites, no secret steps, and no fitness industry background required. If you love music, community, and helping kids tap into their strength and creativity, you’re already in the right place.
Generation POUND is designed to be accessible, energetic, and incredibly fun. It teaches you how to guide kids through rhythm‑based movement, confidence‑building activities, and interactive games that spark connection and self‑expression. Whether you are a teacher, a coach, a youth leader, a parent, or someone who simply feels called to inspire the next generation, you are welcome.
The training walks you through everything you need to feel prepared and confident. You’ll learn how to break down movement patterns, use rhythm as a teaching tool, create safe and supportive spaces for kids, and lead classes that feel joyful for every age and personality. You will finish with the skills, resources, and energy to launch classes in schools, studios, community centers, after‑school programs, camps, or anywhere young people gather.
If you feel excited about empowering kids to move, shout, laugh, and shine, Generation POUND training is absolutely for you. We would love to have you in the Band!
Can anyone take a class regardless of age, fitness level or ability?
Yes!
POUND classes are designed to be inclusive and accessible for all ages, fitness levels, and abilities. Throughout class, your Pro will guide you through clear options for movement and technique, so you can adjust the intensity, pace, or range of motion in a way that feels right for you. You’re always in control of your experience, and success looks different for everyone in the room.
Always consult a healthcare professional before participating in any exercise program. Inform your Pro before class if you require any modifications specific to your body and needs.
Your Pro is there to support you. With the right adjustments, you can still tap into the rhythm, feel the energy, and be part of the experience in a way that works for your body!
Can I lead this if I’m not in the United States?
Absolutely! The program itself can be taught anywhere and everywhere! Pros looking to align the lesson plans with curriculum standards outside of the U.S. will need to reference their local resources.
