@aneta.kaszkowiak

Aneta Kaszkowiak has spent the last decade turning strangers into a rockstar community, one class/event/training at a time. Ask Pros in and around Poland how they found POUND, and most will tell you it started with her.

Music has always been a big part of Aneta’s life. She’s a pianist and loves to dance. In 2015, she took her first POUND class at a local fitness studio and fell in love at first strike. She went looking for a training the moment she got home, and hasn’t stopped since. She’s been a POUND Pro since 2015 and a POUND ICON since 2016 – the only POUND ICON in Poland.

Nearly 12 years into her fitness career, Aneta has taught a lot of different formats, still leading Rockout Workout and Unplugged classes regularly along with her Healthy Back classes. As a group fitness instructor, POUND Amplify shifted how Aneta teaches: instead of perfect technique, teaching became about creating a room full of electric energy. That shift has shown up in teaching and in life: eye contact, connection, and most of all, having fun.

Anyone who’s spent time with Aneta, on a POUND stage, at EU4YA, or most recently in Dublin, knows she brings the same warmth off the floor as on it. She’s a mom of three, and those close to her describe her as thoughtful and supportive, and even though she is incredibly busy, she slows down to make sure you feel like family.

POUND Journey
🤘

When did you first discover POUND? I discovered POUND in 2015 in a local fitness class and I fell in love from the first strike. I was so fascinated that I started looking for a training right after I came back home.

What made you fall in love with it? Music has always been a huge part of my life. I am a pianist and I love dancing, so music and that unique energy definitely made me fall in love with POUND.

Favorite POUND program/continuing edu to teach and why? I love all the programs, all of them are amazing but my favorites are PRW and Unplugged. PRW is fun and energizing. Unplugged is a game changer. It allows to find balance, look inward and be more conscious.

What’s a POUND moment you’ll never forget? The POUND moment I will never forget was my first ICON Camp. I was scared, insecure, went to London, I didn’t know anyone there and everyone was so kind and welcoming. When the master class started I felt that this is the place I belong.

Fitness Background
💪

How long have you been in the fitness industry? It has been almost 12 years.

What did/do you teach besides POUND? I’ve been teaching different formats, strength and conditioning classes, step choreography, stretching. Now I teach PRW and Healthy Back classes regularly.

One certification or course that changed your teaching? I think it was an Amplify Training. I started focusing more on creating an atmosphere than explaining precisely every technique.

What’s something you believe every great instructor should focus on? The atmosphere! Plus eye contact, cueing, having fun.

Your Community
🌍

What’s unique about your fitness community or region? People attend group fitness classes they know. I encourage them to try new formats.

What’s one way you’ve seen POUND impact your local Pros? I love, support and admire my local Pros. I’m so proud of them. I can see how they grow, become more confident, step out of their comfort zone not only in classes but also in their lives.
