KIM COOPER

Hailing from the mid-west of the United States, Kim Cooper was seeking something different when she came across POUND and was intrigued enough to sign up for Pro Training in 2015. As soon as her Ripstix crushed the mat, POUND instantly became her ‘soulmate’ workout. What started out as a desire for teaching a unique fitness format quickly evolved into a love for the participants and a passion to create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe space where people can come together, be authentic and form relationships.

When Kim isn’t rocking a POUND class at the local skatepark or YMCA, she loves traveling and going to the family farm. She spends her days as a Real Estate salesperson, mom of 2 teenage boys, wife of an archery enthusiast and Grandma to a litter of Springer Spaniel puppies.  She studied Aviation, Marketing and International Business at the University of Minnesota, Mankato and holds Group Fitness Certifications with American Council on Exercise (ACE) as well as Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).
