If you could have dinner with anyone from history, who would it be?
I would choose Ahmed Khalid Tawfik, the prolific Egyptian author who penned over 200 books. Growing up, he was one of my favorite writers, I read almost every word he wrote, and I believe he would be an incredibly interesting and pleasant dinner companion.
What’s a great book you’ve read recently?
Although I haven’t had much time for reading lately, the most recent book I read was “Make Time: How to Focus on What Matters Every Day” by Jake Knapp and John Zeratsky. As a computer programmer myself, I found it particularly resonant since the authors, both former Google designers, share insights on balancing work with personal aspirations and finding time to pursue your dreams.
What’s the most courageous thing you’ve ever done?
Embarking on a solo trip through Europe, where I visited four countries and multiple cities, was a bold and transformative experience for me. The highlight was attending the POUND LEVEL Up training in Milan, Italy.
What’s the first thing you do when you get home from a trip?
I tend to procrastinate unpacking until it’s absolutely necessary. Packing and unpacking are my least favorite parts of any trip.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
A friend once told me that the quickest way to mature and learn is to check your ego and admit that you don’t know everything. By humbling yourself, you open the door to new knowledge, which can continually reshape your perspective.
If you had two hours left on earth, what would you do?
Honestly, I would spend those precious moments praying with my loved ones.
Whom do you secretly admire?
I secretly admire anyone who is creative or clever in their endeavors, particularly those who can think on their feet and find innovative solutions to problems.
What’s something you never leave home without?
I never leave home without the neighborhood cats parading me from my doorstep to the car. We regularly put food out for them, and they’ve become a charming part of my routine.
What superpower would you most like to have?
I would love to have limitless energy, focus, and courage.
