Bea Tabuñar (just call her Bea, pronounced Be-ya) is a proud Filipina, born and raised in Manila, Philippines. Her love for movement started late in her adult life with yoga. It was her way of destressing from her former corporate job. She later found out about Pound from social media and took her first masterclass during the first training in her country. She maximizes her yin and yang energy in her classes to give everyone a compassionate rockstar experience. Join her next Pound Pro training to see how she can help you unleash your full potential as a full-fledged rockstar!
How do you help someone who’s stepping out of their comfort zone for the first time?
Part of my purpose statement is “to empower people to bravely unleash our full potential”, with the keyword being “bravely”. I tell people that in any new thing we do, we might as well do it scared and let our courage or bravery switch on as we take the leap.
What’s the one thing you always tell your class before starting?
You are here for your reasons, whether to move, just have fun, or release feelings. Whatever your reason is, let’s do this together!
What’s your all-time favorite track to end POUND class with a bang?
You can never go wrong with Good Times by Ella Eyre
What is your first POUND memory?
I stepped into the training not knowing what to expect. After the master class at the start of training, I knew this was something I could share to help change people’s lives.
