Erica Hamilton is an Ohio based ICON, who first found POUND on Instagram. After following the brand for a few years, she knew it was something she had to be part of. One 15-minute demo later, she was hooked and signed up to become a Pound Pro just a week later. That was in 2016 and she hasn’t looked back, and often says Pound is her soulmate workout. Growing up a dancer, she pursued her college degree in Dance Education and Performance. Erica started her fitness career in 2013 teaching boot camp classes and becoming an ACE certified group fitness instructor, and is also certified in Barre, TRX, Dance Cardio Fitness, Yoga, and more.
When she isn’t teaching POUND with her amazing Posse, Erica can be found enjoying life with her family, friends, and pets. Traveling, enjoying plants, reading, living life to the fullest, and doing all the hair flips in POUND!

Talking about my fertility journey. It has been such a taboo topic to speak about miscarriages and the struggle. I wanted to be open and honest, and create a space where someone else would feel comfortable sharing and not feel alone.
If you could choose your own rockstar nickname, what would it be?
E-Rock! A good friend of mine called me this many years ago and it stuck. It’s even my Instagram handle.

Get all the puppy loves!

POUND 100%. It’s not only my soulmate workout, but it allowed me to be my true self.
What’s the best thing that ever happened to you?
Finding POUND and the community it brings. I have met some of my life-long friends from POUND, some not even in person yet! If I had never joined, I wouldn’t have met these amazing humans. The memories are irreplaceable.
What do you want people to say about you once you’re gone?
That I always made people feel included no matter what.
What’s one thing you’d tell your 13-year-old self?
Be yourself, it will always win over being someone you are not. Also, that you won’t grow any taller, 5’1″ it is!

The ability to teleport, so I could see different parts of the world whenever.
