What’s one word or phrase that perfectly sums up your energy?
Do it, and if you’re afraid, do it with fear.
What’s the one thing you always tell your class before starting?
I tell them that I feel very proud of them for daring to be there and let go of the comfort zone. For daring to do it even when afraid. For wanting to be a better version. And if it is a regular group, I tell them that I am very proud of the progress they make day by day, both mentally and physically. I always honor their courage, their decision and their strength.
Who is your favorite POUND artist?
Paramore
What is your first POUND memory?
Kirsten came to launch POUND in Mexico at the gym where I worked. My boss called all the instructors together to take the training. That year I still danced a lot and I had arrived from tour the day before so I was very tired. Not wanting to take an 8 hour training. I arrived at the classroom without much energy, sleepless and very tired, but as soon as they gave me the Ripstix and Kirsten started with the first track, all the pain and tiredness I had went away and I fell madly in love with POUND.
