KYLIE BOND

Kylie is an ICON located in London, England who grew up in Cornwall. Prior to becoming a Fitness Instructor, her main passion and job was a dancer. She is a fiery rockstar with a clear sense of self, a joyful sense of humor, and a positive outlook on life. If you see a ponytail helicopter, you’ll know that the music has been turned up!

What are your 3 earliest memories in life?
– Refusing to give back a Teddy from the kids play area on holiday when I was 2. They couldn’t separate me from this Teddy, so to keep the peace they gave me her. 33 years later me and Ted are still together!
– Being at the top of the hill on our street on a bike with roller skates on and my Mum screaming at me to either take the skates off or get off the bike! Of course, I did neither and ended up with a few scrapes and bruises! …Rebel from day 1!
– My mum trying to get me to eat some grapes, but I didn’t like the skin. So my sister nibbled all the skins off so I could eat the inside bit!

If you could live in any TV home, what would it be?
Golden Girls house with Blanche, Rose, Dorothy and Sophia…HOW MUCH FUN WOULD THAT BE!

What’s the first thing you do when you get home from a trip?
Make a cup of tea…Classic British!

What’s the most courageous thing you’ve ever done?
Hmmmm! Probably coming out as gay. I was in a deep dark closest for many years and was so scared that I would be disowned by all my friends and family and just couldn’t imagine a world where I got to be the real Kylie. I had reached breaking point of living a life as someone I wasn’t. It was so hard, it sometimes still is. But I am so happy I can make noise in the LGBTQIA+ community and hopefully help others who may be struggling with a similar situation.

If you had two hours left on earth, what would you do?
A sky dive…With a plane filled with my girlfriend, friends and family and then have a party on the beach when we land down!

That you don’t have to grow up , just because you’re growing old!

How do you show your love for others?
Random acts of kindess. Like leaving notes for them, buying them their favourite snacks, remembering dates they tell you about things.

What’s one thing you’d tell your 13-year-old self?
Don’t pluck your eyebrows!

What superpower would you most like to have?
Teleportation!
