MARNI PARSONS

Marni POUND Pro from Moorhead, MN and teaches in Fargo, ND (you betcha :). Marni started her POUND journey as someone who had never taught a group fitness class in her life. Marni was teaching pole fitness at the time and was introduced to POUND and as they say, it was “love at first strike”. POUND quickly became a passion she just had to share. Whether you’re a group fitness regular, or someone trying their first class, she sees YOU and makes you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. Her setlists offer a variety of music styles so everyone will find something to ROCKOUT to. Marni has since ventured into other fitness formats, but her passion and first love with always be POUND. Taking a class with Marni, you will find someone who embraces everyone as individuals, someone who knows what it’s like to take that leap and try something new. Marni will guide you where you are at, knowing that every drummer has their own style and their own beat.

What’s the one thing you always tell your class before starting
I have two very important rules, there are no mistakes, only drum solos.  My most important rule is to HAVE FUN!!

What’s a non-fitness skill that makes you a stronger teacher
Years of leadership experience in retail.  Learning and embracing individuals as unique and finding ways to train and connect with everyone in a personal way.

What’s your all-time favorite track to end POUND class with a bang
Work by Apashe ft. Vo Williams – this is my go to track, what better way to celebrate the work we just did in class than this intense and fun finale track

What is your first POUND memory?
Making my daughter watch the videos and me while I practiced choreography before my classes – I’m sure she just loved doing that!
