MICHAEL CHOW

Michael is a Taiwan-based ICON for POUND®, rooted in Taichung City and deeply connected to the global POUND community. With a background in group fitness and a POUND journey that began in 2017, Michael has led hundreds of classes, events, and trainings across Taiwan and Asia, bridging performance, presence, and purpose. His teaching style challenges Pros to unleash their full energy and turn their bodies into a powerful extension of the music on stage. Known for blending high-energy rockstar vibes with grounded, intentional coaching, his trainings balance sweat and soul—loud music, clear structure, thoughtful cueing, and a deep respect for human connection. Whether leading a high-impact ROCKOUT experience or a reflective UNPLUGGED session, Michael creates spaces where Pros feel seen, empowered, and ready to lead with confidence.

Spend 8 hours with Michael and expect to rock hard, reset deep, and leave ready to lead like never before.

What’s the one thing you always tell your class before starting?
Safety comes first—do what you can, trust your body, and let it guide you to give it your all.

What’s one word or phrase that perfectly sums up your energy?
My energy is powerful, rhythmic, and intentional—designed to help people unleash, reset, and lead with confidence

If your life had a theme song, what would it be?
“You Can’t Stop Me” by Andy Mineo — a constant reminder to lead with faith, resilience, and rhythm, pushing forward with purpose no matter the obstacles, on stage and in life.

What is your first POUND memory?
My first POUND memory was discovering Mind before Body—realizing it wasn’t just about movement, but about connection, intention, and letting rhythm lead from the inside out.
