How do you help someone who’s stepping out of their comfort zone for the first time
First, I acknowledge the courage it took to do so in the first place. Then, I make sure they know I believe in them and meet them right where they’re at (and encourage them to do the same for themselves!)

What’s a non-fitness skill that makes you a stronger teacher
Having experience in dance and performance has given me the skills to lead with expansiveness, fun & genuine energy. I’ve learned to not take myself too seriously!

What’s your all-time favorite track to end POUND class with a bang
My current top two finale tracks would be Energy and I Turn On. Fabulous hype with those. But, my tried-and-true all-time fave has to be Trifecta. An OG!

What is a quote that you live by
I discovered this quote walking through the Denver International Airport. It struck me so deeply, I now have it tattooed on my shoulder: “We all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible piper.” – Albert Einstein

One thing you would tell your childhood self
