Puerto Rico-based ICON, Yesenia Marrero, is a loving mother and wife who loves teaching group fitness and has a passion for the arts, music and expression. A former member of the Puerto Rico National Women’s water polo team, Yesenia became the first woman to officiate an Olympic Water Polo Game in Athens, Greece 2004 in the history of the sport. Professionally trained in Musical Theater and Modern Dance, Yesenia’s passion for fitness and music led her to become a POUND Pro in 2013. Today, Yesenia uses POUND to bring fun and an unforgettable experience to her high-energy classes.

Never chase love, affection, or attention. If it isn’t given freely by another person, it isn’t worth having.
What activity do you do that makes you feel most like yourself?
