Maple Glazed Whole Wheat Pumpkin Bread

The holiday season is here and what better way to celebrate than with a dessert that will have your guests asking for more?! At POUND, we’re all about balance, that’s why this recipe is the perfect one to indulge in and enjoy. What’s even better? You can modify the ingredients according to your dietary restrictions or just to simply make it cleaner if you wanted. Either way, this treat will have you feeling both naughty and nice!

  • 1 Cup – Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 Cup – All Purpose Flour
  • 3 tsp – Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp – Salt
  • 2 tsp – Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • ½ Cup – Brown Sugar
  • ½ Cup – Sugar
  • 2 ea – Eggs
  • ⅓ Cup – Coconut Oil
  • ½ Cup – Almond Milk ( or Sub Whole Milk)
  • 15 oz Pumpkin Puree – 1 can
  • Pepitas – Optional


  1. Mix together flours, baking powder, salt and pumpkin spice. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together sugars, coconut oil, milk and pumpkin puree.
  3. Slowly add in dries into wet mix.
  4. Pour into oiled bread pan.
  5. Bake at 350 for 40-50 min.
  6. Bake at 350 for 40-50 min.
  7. Slice and serve

Glaze Directions:

  1. Whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup and milk. Add Powdered sugar if needed.
