Do I need to protect my floors from the Ripstix®?

Ripstix® are designed for high‑intensity fitness use, but when you’re POUNDing on hardwood or other non‑carpeted floors, we recommend using a yoga mat or exercise mat. The mat helps protect your flooring from repeated impact, and it gives participants a safer, more comfortable surface to move on during transitions, lunges, and core work.

If you’re ever unsure about your specific space or flooring type, feel free to reach out. We’re always happy to help you choose the best setup for a safe, high‑energy class experience.

Do you have a liability waiver for my students?

POUND does not require students you teach to sign a separate liability waiver for us, nor do we offer a standard waiver. However, it is a best practice for any Venue or instructor to ask participants to agree to a waiver to alleviate any type of personal liability.

Do you offer a warranty on Ripstix®?

We offer a 90-day warranty from the date of purchase for Ripstix® packages (sets of 15, 25 and 50) and individual sets. If you would like to submit a warranty claim, please contact us here, provide an explanation, attach a photo of the damaged Ripstix®, and use the subject line “Warranty Claim” and include your original order number.

Do you offer online Virtual training?

Yes! Every POUND program is available in a fully virtual format, and our online trainings are designed to deliver the same energy, connection, and hands‑on learning you would experience in person. You can train from anywhere, on your own device, and still walk away feeling confident, supported, and ready to teach.

Our virtual trainings are live, interactive sessions led by expert ICONs who keep you moving, learning, and asking questions. You will break down tracks, practice technique, connect with your group, and receive real‑time coaching to help you build your skills. The online format gives you the flexibility to train in a space that feels comfortable, without losing any of the community experience POUND is known for.

Every training includes digital resources, access to your Training Guide, and everything you need to launch your journey as an instructor. Whether you choose POUND, Generation POUND, Unplugged, you can complete your certification from wherever you are.

If you want a powerful, convenient way to grow your skills and step into the POUND Pro world, our online trainings are the perfect place to start.

Do you provide CDs for music or DVDs for choreography?

We don’t provide music on CDs or choreography on DVDs. Instead, POUND uses modern, flexible options that make it easy to access content anytime.

All official POUND music is available through digital downloads or via Spotify and Apple Music, so you can manage your playlists and play your music wherever you teach or train.

Choreography for licensed Pros lives inside The Label, where it’s delivered digitally alongside education, updates, and teaching resources. This keeps everything current and easy to access without physical media.

Looking for a DVD‑based workout experience?

If you’re specifically interested in a DVD option for at‑home workouts, we do offer something special.

The POUND Rockout Results System is a complete 5‑DVD at‑home exercise journey designed for people who want structure, progression, and motivation. The box also includes journals and reference guides to help you track your workouts and stay engaged from start to finish.

  • Available starting at $79.99 in our Shop
  • Available for $99 on Amazon

It’s a great option if you prefer physical media or want a guided POUND experience you can revisit anytime.

Does POUND offer senior classes?

Aside from Generation POUND, which is our youth‑focused program, all POUND formats are designed for any age and any stage. Every class is taught with progressed and regressed options so participants can move in a way that feels strong, safe, and accessible, no matter their age, ability, mobility, or experience.

If you’re a Pro who wants to build classes specifically for seniors, we’re happy to help. You can reach out to us at HQ, and we’ll support you with modification ideas, movement adjustments, and teaching strategies that make your senior‑focused sessions successful, welcoming, and full of ROCKing energy.

Does the group exercise manager/director have to fill out the Venue Enrollment Form, or can a POUND instructor do it?

The Venue Enrollment Form must be submitted by the person who’s authorized to enter into agreements on behalf of the facility. This is usually the group exercise manager, director, or another decision‑maker who oversees programming.

If you’re a POUND instructor, you’re welcome to share the form with your facility contact, but the official submission has to come from someone with signing authority.

If you’re holding a private class or have your own space, you are more than free to fill that out yourself.

You can submit a Venue Enrollment Form here.

How can I cancel my subscription to The Label?

To cancel your subscription to The Label, visit My Account ->>> Freeze or Cancel Subscription.

Under the NEED TO PAUSE section, select “No, I prefer to cancel” and follow the prompts. You’ll receive an email confirmation from us when you’re finished.

If you choose to cancel your subscription to The Label, your status as a POUND Pro becomes inactive. This means you are no longer authorized to teach POUND classes, and several key Pro benefits will no longer be available.

Here’s what changes once your subscription is cancelled:

  • You will not be able to teach any POUND format
  • You will lose access to choreography, music, and new releases
  • You will not be able to use Pro marketing materials, Ripstix packages, or Pro Perks
  • You will not receive ongoing updates or communication intended for active Pros

You will still be able to log in to The Label to download your training certificate at any time. If your cancellation occurred within the last six months, you will also see an option to re‑subscribe by logging back into your account.

We always want our Pros to feel fully supported and equipped, and The Label is the home base for everything you need to teach, grow, and stay connected to the POUND community. If you ever decide to return, we would be excited to welcome you back.

How can I charge participants for Virtual Classes?

Deciding what to charge will be largely dependent on your geographic area (reach out to local studios and gain an idea of what they charge per class for comparison), as well as your specific financial goals and needs. We’ve seen successful Pros charge everything from $3- $30 USD per head, and everything in between! Many Pros opt for ‘donation-based’ classes and ask people to give what they can. As you build out your schedule and test the demand with different pricing, you may even want to build out incentives like class packages (check out these class trackers here) or monthly unlimited virtual class options!

How can I confirm if my instructor is still licensed?

If you want to make sure your instructor is currently certified and licensed to teach POUND, we’re happy to help. You can email POUND HQ directly, and we’ll verify their status for you. Only instructors with an active Label subscription are licensed to teach any POUND format.

We can quickly confirm whether your instructor is up to date, active, and receiving the latest choreography, music, and teaching resources.

Please keep in mind that we will not share any contact information or personal information regarding any of our Pros, only a yes or no regarding their current certification status.

If you’re unsure where to start, just reach out. We’ll look into it and get you the information you need.

How can I find a POUND class near me?

Finding a POUND class near you is easy and only takes a moment. Visit the Find a Class page on poundfit.com and use the search bar or map to explore classes in your area. You can enter your city, zip code, or region, and the map will display all classes that local Pros have posted.

Each class is added directly by the instructor, so what you see reflects the information they’ve shared with us. When you spot a class that looks like a good fit, click on the “view details” for more details about the class, some include links to register. You can also click on a Pro’s headshot to view their Pro Profile. From there, you can see class details, social media links, and any contact options the Pro has chosen to make public.

Because every instructor and venue runs their classes differently, registration and scheduling are handled directly by the Pro. If you need more details, or if you want to double‑check anything before attending, reaching out to them through their published channels is the best way to get accurate information.

If you run into trouble or cannot connect with a local Pro, you can always reach out to us. We’re happy to help guide you so you can start ROCKing with a nearby class.

You can try our on-demand workouts on Backstage! Click here to get started with a free trial.

How can I get approval to do an event?

It is our policy that POUND cannot be scheduled or booked at any convention or event, including an exhibitor booth or session/class without the approval and consent of POUND.

If you are an event organizer soliciting sponsorship, an event coordinator seeking talent to perform or lead a group class for your organization, or a licensed POUND Pro wishing to represent POUND at an event or host your own event, please email [email protected]

Please note: POUND properly vets each opportunity, and ensures that each event can be maximized, managed, and supported.

How can I teach POUND Rockout Workout?
